Here are some yummy holiday treats for all of you entertaining! Some are definitely my favorites and all are delicious time savers as well!!!
These slice and bake cookies are sooo easy to prep and a life saver to have on hand! I love the orange, cranberry and pistachio, however you can change the items you mix in. I do lemon and lavender and its so good! Plain orange and then dip half in chocolate after baking and your guests will be IMPRESSED!! The great thing about these is that one single batch makes about 3 logs and these can be frozen. I will usually double the recipe and freeze several, then just move from the freezer to the fridge the night before you need them! If you need them on the fly, pull them out straight to the counter top and let them thaw an hour or so until they are just soft enough to slice! So convenient!

Whipped ricotta is so light and tasty, when you pair it with a good store bought bruschetta, you have an appetizer that comes together in no time!
I start with1 pint of whole milk ricotta, add that and 1 T of good olive oil, plus a little salt and pepper to your food processor and let it run for about 5 minutes and whip up till nice and fluffy. If you have a very large food processor, you may find that you’ll need 2 pints to get it to whip up well.
You can make into nice bite sized appetizers by spreading it onto a cracker or crostini with a small spoonful of your bruschetta, or, even easier, just spread onto a small platter, top with bruschetta and serve the crackers on the side!!
These puff pastry brie bites are super quick and easy and don’t require greasing and cleaning mini muffin tins!! Simply use a pizza cutter to cut a sheet of puff pastry into 15 squares (or more, if you’d like them smaller). Use a fork to pierce each piece and then add a dollop of cranberry sauce and a cube of brie on top. Bake at 400 for about 8 minutes or until golden brown – done!!
