Filling
  • 1/2 Block of Extra Firm Tofu
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Carrot
  • 1 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 3 clove Garlic, Grated
  • 3 tbsp Ginger, Grated
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Chili Paste
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Package of Round Dumpling Wrappers
  • Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ginger, Grated
  • 2 clove Garlic, Grated
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Chili Paste

    Heat oil in pan on medium. Add tofu, carrots, & cabbage. Saute for 5 minutes, until softened. Add remaining ingredients and taste for seasoning. Let cool.

    Mix together all ingredients, taste for seasoning.

    Using the tip of your finger, dip in water and wet the edge of half of the dumpling wrapper.  Scoop 1-2 teaspoons of filling into the center and seal the edges together.  You can have fun with accordian folds etc, or leave them as is. We steamed in a steam over on a parchment lined tray for 9-11 minutes. A bamboo steamer, or vegetable steam basket can be used as well.  Make sure to line with either parchment or cabbage leaves to prevent sticking.  These can be pan fried as well.  Enjoy!!
