Twelve Days of Christmas 2021 Day 11: Orange Thyme Sea Salt

On the 11th day of Christmas my true love gave to me, Orange Thyme Sea Salt for cooking!

Flavored Salt is such a fun way to combine aromatics and add great flavor to dishes! This particular blend of orange and thyme brings sweet & savory elements together, that pair well with so many dishes. The thyme is from my Mom’s garden:) Thyme is one of my favorite herbs and it is probably the one that I use in the kitchen the most. SO many dishes that I make include thyme & wouldn’t be the same without it. I love its depth, softness & versatility. It is also so delicious in many baked goods/desserts. Think of replacing the salt in a particular recipe for this blend. Shortbread, quick breads & muffins, even cakes are beautiful with the addition of both orange & thyme. Below is a long list of ideas and a few recipes, but in actuality it is just a short list of all the possibilities! Enjoy!
