Savory Steamed Shrimp

Here is a great recipe for any occasion. I am using the steam oven to prepare the shrimp & able to do 2 lbs at a time. If you do not have a steam oven, no problem. You can use your steam basket on the stove top and do in batches. I would say about ½ lb at a time - whatever doesn't overcrowd the steam basket. The cooking time will be right about the same 8-10 minutes! Enjoy!

Pat dry your shrimp and place into a large bowl. Separately, mix together your spices. Toss with shrimp to coat and place on steam oven try or work in batches in your steam basket. Steam for 8-10 minutes. Let cool 20-30 minutes and then chill in fridge. Plate when ready to serve, sprinkle with a bit of fresh lemon juice. Serve with cocktail sauce, lemon wedges and parsley. Enjoy!
